Fun Football

Fun Football is a programme designed by Football Federation Samoa to develop Football players by giving them the basic techniques and skills of the game.
The purpose of its establishment is to introduce the children between the age of 5-15 with football skills such as dribbling, passing, heading and shooting on goal.
However, as the name suggests – the main aim of the program is simply for children to have fun.
Volunteer coaches conduct the sessions, some of who are also former members of the Samoan National Teams – both Men and Women.
The program gives them a chance to share their knowledge and skills to these youngsters.
The programme was started in June 2009 and is free to all the children who want to participate. It runs every Mondays and Wednesday from 3:30pm to 5:30 at JS Blatter Football Complex and at the community field at Moata’a.
Parents are encourages to bring their children down to the fields – get them active, learn new skills and make new friends. For further questions and information contact the FFS Office on 29993
