COMPETITION TO RESUME IN JUNE

A number of football activities and competitions will resume in the coming weeks since Samoa is under Covid Alert level 2 with new changes amended under the State of Emergency allowing sports to re-open again.

However, FFS has taken precautionary measures for the safety of its players finalized a decision that only seniors’ divisions will return to the field of play this year.

The decision was made by the Competition Review Committee (CRC) based on the State of Emergency restrictions.

Competition Manager Papalii Laautuivanu confirmed in an email this evening that Under 8 to Under 14 divisions will be on hold for this year yet the local tournaments will continue with senior teams only.

Registration is now open for teams in Upolu and closes on the 8th June 2022.

Minor amendments have made to Rules and Regulations to meet the SOE restrictions. A club meeting will be held on the 31st May 2022.

Upolu Senior League tournament scheduled to kick off on the 18th June 2022.

Registration fees

Premier division – $300

First division – $200

Second division – $200
