With this, the FFS team joined the Government of Samoa’s Mass Vaccination that took place on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th September 2021 which saw more than thousand doses of AstraZeneca administered as part of the two-day mass vaccination roll out.

Six (6) vans (4 in Upolu and 2 in Savaii) were offered to the National Emergency Organizing Committee (“NEOC”) and the National Health Services (“NHS”) to assist the health authorities with the mass vaccination. NEOC and the NHS aim was to try and administer 20,000 doses which would in turn bring Samoa to close to 100 percent of the eligible population having received at least one dose of the vaccine (Radio Samoa)
