This event was attended by over 50 guests, including CEOs from various sports organizations across Samoa, all gathering to witness the transformation of the federation’s identity.
The ceremony featured poignant keynote speeches, particularly from the Vice President, Afioga Muliaumasealii Siaosi Tagiilima. He highlighted that this logo marks the third redesign since the federation’s inception in 1968, symbolizing a new era for football in Samoa.
The opening ceremony was led by Reverend Richard Noaese, who delivered an inspiring message to the attendees. He emphasized that this new logo embodies hope and serves as a beacon for everyone associated with the organization, especially the youth and talented players who aspire to excel in soccer.
After the unveiling, excitement filled the air as the winner of the logo design competition was announced, receiving a cash prize of $2,000.
