Participants received Safeguarding in Sport for Development Certificates

Yesterday marked an extraordinary milestone for the remarkable women and girls participating in the “This is How We Football Programme Course.” With immense pride, they received their UEFA Foundation for Children Safer Play—Safeguarding in Sports for Development Certificates, which stand as a powerful testament to their unwavering commitment and hard work.

Throughout the course, these individuals immersed themselves in transformative learning experiences, acquiring invaluable knowledge on how to effectively implement impactful programs within their villages, schools, and wider communities.

More than just a certification, this represents a key to empowerment, equipping them with essential tools and insights to recognize, navigate, and address issues of harassment—thus opening doors to possibilities they may have previously thought unattainable.

We wish to express our deepest gratitude to our passionate educator, Ms. Avii Faalupega, a dedicated representative from SASNOC. Her profound insights into the importance of safeguarding have played a critical role in deepening the participants’ understanding and appreciation of these vital topics.

Moreover, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our Technical Director, Mr. Ravinesh Kumar, who has consistently been there to provide guidance and encouragement. His presence has ensured that each participant leaves with a comprehensive grasp of the material, ready to make a difference in their communities.

Together, Ms. Faalupega and Mr. Kumar have fostered a vibrant and nurturing learning environment that emphasizes growth, collaboration, and resilience.

The impact of their efforts will undoubtedly resonate for years to come, empowering these women and girls to champion change and inspire others in their journeys.
