Samoa National U15 Boys Youth Development Team embarked on an exciting journey

This morning, the Samoa National U15 Boys Youth Development Team embarked on an exciting journey, departing for New Zealand to participate in the prestigious OFC U-15 Youth Development Tournament 2025. This tournament brings together a total of nine nations from across the Pacific, creating a vibrant atmosphere of competition and camaraderie.

Leading the team is the experienced head coach, Horst Petana, who is dedicated to nurturing young talents. He is ably assisted by Pualele Lemana, the assistant coach, and Kelly Talaimanu, who specializes as the goalkeeper coach. Quaver Epati serves as the Manager, ensuring everything runs smoothly, while Misa Falevi Umutaua proudly represents the team as the Head of Delegation.

In the tournament, our Samoa team has been placed in a challenging pool alongside Tahiti and Tonga. They are gearing up for their first match against Tahiti on Tuesday, April 15th, followed by a face-off against Tonga on Thursday, April 17th, 2025.

The tournament is set to unfold over an exhilarating period from Saturday, April 12th, to April 24th, 2025, in New Zealand, promising thrilling moments and unforgettable experiences for the young athletes as they showcase their skills and passion on the international stage.
