National Legue closer to an end

The national league season with the men’s and women’s cup final came to an end on Saturday evening the 15th June 2013 when Lupe ole Soaga and Kiwi Football Club teams battle for the finals.
First off was the women’s game between Kiwi and Lupe ole Soaga.
It was a passionate start for both teams however it was the ladies from Kiwi who created the better scoring opportunities early in the match.
Kiwi stayed focused throughout the game and fought well against a valiant defence from Lupe ole Soaga.
The 2 to nil win to Kiwi means that they are cup champions for the second year in a roll after defeating Moataa last year in the finals.
Despite losing Lupe ole Soaga can hold their heads high that they made it through to the women’s final in their first season with FFS.
Football fans witnessed a tough game between Lupe ole Soaga and kiwi FC in the men’s cup final. Both teams attacked and defended extremely well in the first half with a half time score of nil all.
Kiwi where the first ones to scored early in the second half only to be equalized after a penalty in the box awarded to Lupe ole Soaga.
This meant that the full time was drawn at one all and both teams have to play 20 minutes extra time to determine the winner.
In the second half of the overtime, Lupe ole Soaga scored and kiwi where unable to equalized.
Final score 2 – 1 to Lupe ole Soaga.
FFS will continue its National League activities until the 22nd of June where there will be a club prize giving to wrap up all the events and also to announcement the remaining activities.
