Samoa opened their campaign in impressive fashion with a dominant victory over Tonga. The girls showcased confidence and attacking football from the opening whistle, working together as a united team to secure an important win in their first match of the tournament. Their strong performance provided the perfect start and built momentum for the matches ahead.
In their second outing, Samoa faced Solomon Islands in a thrilling and highly competitive encounter. Both teams fought hard throughout the match, producing an exciting contest filled with intensity and determination.
Samoa showed great character and composure to battle until the final whistle, earning a hard-fought 2–2 draw against a strong Solomon Islands side. The result demonstrated the team’s resilience and ability to compete under pressure.
Samoa continued their impressive campaign in their third match against Tahiti. In another strong team performance, the girls displayed discipline, teamwork, and attacking intent to secure a valuable victory that booked their place in the tournament Final. The Final saw Samoa take on a strong and experienced New Zealand side in what was a memorable occasion for the young squad.
