Samoa Football is proud to join the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) in celebrating International Safe Sport Day on Saturday, 8 August 2026, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring football in Samoa is a safe, respectful and enjoyable environment for everyone.
To mark this important occasion, Samoa Football warmly invites players, coaches, referees, club officials, parents, volunteers, supporters and members of the public to take part in a special Safe Sport awareness program at the Football Federation Samoa headquarters.
The event aims to raise awareness of the importance of creating positive football environments where everyone feels welcome, respected and protected. Participants will learn more about Safe Sport principles, including respect, inclusion, safeguarding, fair play and the shared responsibility of making football free from abuse, harassment, bullying and discrimination.
Safe Sport is a key priority for Samoa Football and OFC, ensuring that football remains a game where people of all ages and backgrounds can participate with confidence and enjoy the many benefits the sport provides.
Samoa Football encourages everyone to join us as we stand together in promoting a culture of respect, safety and inclusion across the football community.
Together, we can make football safer, stronger and more enjoyable for everyone.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
