Samoa Football has confirmed an alternative pathway for coaches to complete the current Youth Coaching Course, ensuring participants still have the opportunity to meet the requirements and continue their coaching development.

As part of this initiative, all affiliated clubs will receive the required theoretical course materials and supporting information via email next week. Coaches will be expected to review and study the content independently in preparation for the final practical session.

The concluding practical component of the course will take place on Saturday, the 6th of June, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The morning session will begin with a one-hour period dedicated to questions, feedback, and overall course review before transitioning into a practical coaching session on the field.

Final Practical Session Schedule

  • 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Questions, feedback, and course review
  • 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Practical coaching session on the field

This alternative arrangement has been introduced to support coaches and clubs in balancing their schedules while still maintaining the standards and objectives of coach education in Samoa.

The programme reflects Samoa Football’s ongoing commitment to developing qualified youth coaches and strengthening football development pathways across the country.

At the same time, Samoa Football emphasised the importance of professionalism, punctuality, and full participation throughout the course process.

Organisers made it clear that the session will commence strictly at 8:00 AM, and all participants are expected to arrive on time and fully engage in the programme.

The organisation also stressed that coaching licences will only be awarded to participants who complete all course requirements to the expected standard.

Coaches who arrive late, participate only briefly, or fail to fully complete the programme should not expect to receive certification.

Samoa Football reiterated that coach education must continue to uphold professionalism, commitment, and quality standards to ensure the long-term growth and success of football development in Samoa.
