
Team Samoa’s Senior Women’s squad is eagerly anticipated to arrive in Solomon Islands on Wednesday next week, ready to compete in the highly anticipated FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 Qualifiers.
The tournament is set to commence on the 27th of this month and will continue until the 5th of March 2026, promising an exciting showcase of talent and determination.
Our opening match will see us face off against New Zealand, which marks the inaugural day of the tournament on the 27th, taking place at the National Stadium in Solomon Islands at 1 PM.
Following this exciting encounter, we will take on the spirited host nation, Solomon Islands, along with American Samoa in a thrilling set of games that will showcase the best of women’s football.
Our second match is scheduled for Monday, the 2nd of March, where we’ll once again compete at 1 PM, this time against American Samoa.
Finally, we will wrap up the group stage with a crucial showdown against the host country, Solomon Islands, slated for 5 PM. It promises to be a tournament filled with passion, competition, and the pursuit of glory.
Round Three will played in New Zealand across two venues in April 2026. The four nations still in contention for qualification, will meet in a knockout-style format, with the winner of either semi-final progressing to the final. The winner of the Round Three final will secure their spot at FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, whilst the runner-up will head to the inter-confederation play-offs.
