Three exciting matches set for match day 2 of the FFS Upolu senior league elimination round at the JS Blatter Complex, Tuana’imato.
In the Women’s division, Adidas SC will play the Kiwi FC team.
Adidas Women’s team is beginning to look a much more competitive with complete force hence Kiwi will not underestimate there opponent.
Having prepared for weeks, the coaches are feeling confident about their chances in the competition.
“We cannot wait for our match tonight. Our team have worked hard and we want to win, says Adidas Coach Lanuola Mulipola.
When asked about the difference from their debut appearance, Mulipola said they have a better team now and ready for the challenge.
“Today is the day and we are ready to play for that win, she added.

Kiwi FC is one of the tough teams in the competition yet Coach Martin Tamasese believes that anything can happen in every match
“With the top 8 anything can happen and once you’re in the top 8 you cannot take anything lightly.”
The preparations for the is up to the limit, it’s not going to be easy however we have looked in the areas that need improvement from the single round-robin and from there we have worked in those areas counter our opponent, he added”

All eyes will be on the premier men’s division matches as four tough teams will compete to record a maiden win for the quarter-finals round.
Vaivase tai grew in confidence hence the unavailability of players for the preparations.
“Majority of our players are students and it’s one of the biggest challenges that we are facing now thus it’s not an excuse.
“We rely on our key players, Falaniko Nanumea, Lafi Ioane and Eti Tamaolefale.
Vaivase tai played against Sogi SC in the single round-robin and coach Horst Petana recalls that their opponent will be difficult to suppress.

“We played Sogi in the National League and we ended up with a 2 – 2 draw.
We are expecting a tough match and we hope that we get what we want in order to progress to the Quarterfinals.
Sogi SC standing at fifth place in the tournament has no doubts in their match against the Vaivase tai team. Joe Ugapo coach for Sogi SC says his team are not new in the competition and that his players are physically fit for the challenge despite worried about the Match officials where he believes the decisions by the referee’s costs teams preparations.
“Our team has been camp for two months now; we aim to get the best results we can”

I have done my job as the coach and will leave my players to do the job tonight; however, we request the Federation to have good referees to officiate our games”
