National League kicks off

The league is made up of 5 divisions, however First division will starts off the league for 3 weeks followed by premier league division on the 16th November 2013 until February next year.
16 teams registered for the first division. Three new teams joined in this year’s competition including teams from Faatoia, Leauvaa and Vaiusu.
Competition’s Coordinator Tanya Bryce stated “2013-2014 National League tournaments will be the shortest league compare to the past years. We cut down the rounds and adding in more activities for players to develop their skills and techniques”
FFS new activities include the inauguration of Futsal tournaments (men’s & women’s) plus the implementation of development centres to produce and maintain youngsters from 11-16 years old to become national representatives.
Weekday matches run from Monday to Fridays kicking off at 5.30pm and Saturdays at 11.00am.
