Moaula United win in a thriller.

Moaula and Moataa started the game playing offensive free flowing football. Both teams scored two excelled goals in the first half resulting in a 2-2 half time score. In the second half Moataa were reduced to 10 men after one of their players received a red card. As a result it was Moaula who started to create the better scoring opportunities, which they were unable to convert.
Just when it looked like both teams were going to share the points, Moaula were awarded a free kick just outside the penalty box with 2 minutes left to play. Fereti Goshe then superbly struck the free kick in the top left hand corner giving the Moataa’s goalkeeper no chance.
After the game, one of the Moaula coaches Joseph Kapisi was delighted with the win; “I am very happy with the win especially since we were missing some key players. The team really had to work hard today. We now have won both our games in the league and we are looking forward to next week’s game”.
Despite loosing, Moataa Team Manager Levine Siemu was upbeat about his team’s performance; “Our team has a saying which is when we play we play to enjoy the game. This is the message that we as the senior members of the village have been working hard to get our players to understand”.
