Crunch time for Adidas

Captained by Alofa Mamea, the new competition leaders got down to business. Mamea nailed a low shot which spun out of Moaula goalkeeper Annie Betham’s grasp.
Hana Malo followed up with a chip from outside the right corner of the penalty box which dipped just enough to put Adidas ahead by two goals after 30 minutes of play.
Adidas’ third goal came from striker Simolo Sa’u Tomi who adjusted well from her usual central defender position to play upfront and provide much-needed support for Mamea and Malo.
Cruz Azul returned to form, thrashing Goldstar Sogi, 5-1.
Filoi Eneliko opened the scoring for Cruz in the 5th minute.
Cruz captain Simeatu Lemana bagged a double, just 22 minutes into the match and Eneliko completed her pair with only seconds to spare.
Apia Youth tasted sweet victory over Moataa SC with a goal late in the second half to snatch the much-needed, 1-0 win.
